Meet Dr. Orenstein

Dr. Noah P. Orenstein grew up on Cape Cod. His training gave him the opportunity to live and work in other areas of the country, but he always wanted to settle and raise his family in Boston. His father, a dentist, and mother, a psychotherapist, were his greatest role models in pursuing a career in healthcare. Their respective influences instilled in him acute skills in sensitivity and attention to detail, which intertwine perfectly in his clinical practice.

Patients meet a specialist here, but they stay because they feel known.

As a compassionate person, Dr. Orenstein’s favorite part about being a prosthodontist is being able to develop relationships and play a positive role in people’s lives. Additionally, he loves the ‘first reveal’, when a patient sees their smile for the first time after they have completed any cosmetic dental treatment. Dr. Orenstein understands that overcoming anxiety can be a challenge for many people and goes out of his way to approach dentistry in a positive, caring, and sensitive manner. It is exciting what patients can accomplish when they are listened to, supported, and then motivated.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Orenstein can be found spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys reading, running, playing golf and tennis, and returning to Cape Cod and the Islands.

Education

After attending Phillips Academy in Andover and Emory University in Atlanta, he completed his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Orenstein developed an interest in implant dentistry and immediately began his postdoctoral surgical training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. After a year in private practice, he felt compelled to provide a higher level of service and care to his patients, which led him to attend the University of Connecticut for a three-year advanced specialty degree in Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery. Concurrently, he obtained a Master’s degree in Facial Esthetics. In 2013, he became Board Certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics (a distinction that only 1 of every 20 Prosthodontists in America achieves). Dr. Orenstein is dedicated to proficiency in the most cutting-edge procedures and has also earned certifications as an Invisalign and Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation™ provider.

Teaching

Dr. Orenstein served as an adjunct faculty at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine’s Advanced Program for Implant Reconstruction and at the Graduate Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut, teaching dental residents proper implant surgical and restoration techniques for complex patient treatment. Additionally, Dr. Orenstein has been published in many nationally recognized prosthodontic journals.
